More holiday hoopla!

It’s a Small World clock

the adventure continued for the O’Shea clan through yesterday. We went to see Body Worlds (interesting and kind of creepy, it closes on Jan 23) at the California Science Center, spent the day at Disneyland (word to the wise: D-land the week after Christmas is NOT for the faint of heart!), and attended the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. Wisely we took the Gold Line to get there (traffic on the streets of Pasadena was utter madness). I hadn’t done the latter since I was a tyke, and all I remember of that experience is being cold and tired. This time we had grandstand seats at the start of the parade, and it was truly amazing to see the floats in person and up close. It was COLD but no rain! Everyone had a great time, and all crashed early after starting the day around 4:30am. Last night we took the tree down, so the holidays are officially over, thank goodness. Today I have a nice cloggy head cold and sound (in my own mind, anyway) like Lauren Bacall. So it goes. Check the pics by clicking on the Flickr photo or link.
