Just caught this via Gizmodo: a new VW ad has, uh, revised “Singin’ in the Rain” with Gene Kelly to hawk their Golf GTI. I found it oddly compelling, except for one portion where Kelly’s head appears to leave his body (sort of). What hath CGI wrought? Now go out and watch the original film; it’s a classic!
