It’s more better Max! He visited the shop today to get some automatic things turned on (we were in such a rush to leave yesterday that they didn’t have time to even put gas in the car!). Max now has: daytime running lights turned on, the car automatically unlocks when you take the key out of the ignition, you can roll up the windows by inserting the key in the lock and turning it, uh, and a couple of other things that escape me right now. I took care of the financing today (got a great credit union rate of 4.75%!), and also got insurance (not bad either by California standards: about $700/year). The stereo is amazing; the eight Harmon Kardon speakers live up to their reputation, and the radio has many options for sound adjusting including one called “driver” that envelopes the driver’s seat in the full force of the stereo’s sound. With the help of George the tech guy at BMW/MINI I finally got my Razr phone to pair with the bluetooth car adapter so now can make and take calls without touching the phone. Now I need a reason to plug in the cool box and see how cold drinks get!
