We spent the weekend in Solvang and ran the Santa Barbara Wine Country half Marathon. More on that later – the really BIG event of the weekend was our visit to Ostrich Land in Buellton! You pay $4.00 to get in the door and look at the ostriches and emus but for only ONE dollar more you get to feed them! This was far more exciting than anticipated. I’m scared of horses, so let me tell you, those hungry ostriches were downright frightening!
