My cousin sent me an email yesterday, letting me know it was “International Very Good Looking Damn Smart Woman’s Day, so please send this message to someone you think fits this description.” She very kindly thought of me (and who am I to quarrel with her?). Anyway, the end of the message had a great quote, which I am sharing here:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, “WOOHOO what a ride!”
