From the annals of interesting things to do with your spare all your time: liningup.net, a website devoted to the people currently standing in line for the opening of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith in six weeks at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. What’s extra cool about this, they are answering the pay phone by the theatre (or is it theater? the debate rages…). Call (323) 462-9609 and see who answers! Now I really want to see the movie, but am not going to stand in line for SIX WEEKS or even a portion thereof. I did stand in line for four hours for the first showing of the original Star Wars (if an Episode IV can be counted as the original) a long time ago (1977) in a galaxy far, far away (actually San Francisco). That was a lot of fun. But that was also (!!) 28 years ago. I’m not as young as I used to be, at least as regards standing in line for movies. May the Force be with you (which always reminds me of church, so I feel like I should end with) and also with you).
Let the Force be with you for quite a while
