There’s this new interactive talking book out (for kids, in case you were wondering) called “Potty Time with Elmo.” It is, as I understand it, a book about the joys of potty training written by enlightened adults for the little tykes still peeing in their diapers. If Elmo can do it, you can too! All well and good, right? The problem is that apparently some of the books rather than say, “Who wants to try?” say, “Who wants to die?” I’m not kidding.

For some reason, that just tickles my funny bone. I think it was the illustration on the cover that sent me over the edge. It really looks like Elmo is attempting to drown the smaller puppet in the toilet. See for yourself here.

This is an unrelated story, but is really gross, yet strangely fascinating.
