Wow, what a day! The Democrats take back the House (and maybe the Senate, depending on how they figure out the count in Virginia) AND Donald Rumsfeld resigned! Nancy Pelosi is the first ever female Speaker of the House (you GO, girl!)!

Under the heading of “Yep, we’re real pinheads and proud of it,” Idaho, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia joined Wisconsin in approving ban-same-sex-marriage amendments.

Here in California it looks like we’re going to be Lojacking pedophiles, and smokers can exhale (and cough, most likely) as Prop 86 failed, so a pack of cigarettes won’t cost an additional $2.60 a pack. 🙁

Still, two thumbs up to America for collectively giving a national raspberry to Dubya and his ham-fisted policies.
