I’ve been a traveling fool for the past few weeks, driving
and flying hither and yon (both very nice locations). A few days ago I had to fly up
to Oakland for work, and because I just couldn’t face a Friday at LAX, I flew
JetBlue out of Long Beach.

 As we were taxiing toward the runway, the plane came to an
abrupt stop, which caught everyone’s attention. As we all perked up and looked
around, the flight attendant came on and said, “Sorry about that folks! There
was a rabbit on the runway!”

 In Long Beach yet. That was a first!
