This is an entry about a word that I’ll never use but like the sound of, if only I could figure out how to say it
Let’s play Jeopardy! The answer is “sphygmomanometer.” I was reading feeds from ehow.com, and one of them was entitled “How to Check Your Blood Pressure With a Sphygmomanometer.” I spent the next minute or two trying to say that word. I think I’ll stick with “that thing the doctor takes my blood pressure with.”

Video iPods rock!
Well, mine certainly does! The size is fabulous – about half as thick as the previous 60GB iPod Photo. It’s lighter, too, at 5.5 ounces. The video is amazing. I downloaded some music videos, but it’s missing a lot of classics. Early days yet, I guess), and a couple of episodes of the new Night

A fun time was had by all
Saturday was the annual Halloween party at jack’s. He’s been putting one on for many years and Chuck has been a faithful attendee. A semi-enforced requirement is that you must wear a costume. Before I cam along, that meant for time immemorial Chuck went as a cowboy. Since we’ve been going together, he’s branched out.
