Emily, I’m so proud of you becoming a good adult. I’m positive you will be a great mother.
As my siblings didn’t produce too many offspring I’m now counting on the nieces and nephews to do a better job. And as my mother use to say it’s a whole lot better to just borrow them for a while, spoil the hell out of them, and return them to their parents to deal with.
In that vein my nephew Rory added Colton about a year ago. He is a very cute little boy (in need of his first haircut) and very pleasant to have around.
The big new news is I now have a great-niece, Hope Virginia Matteson. Here is what I know, she is a girl, came in at about 7 lbs 1.1 oz., and 20.5″ tall.
