Just as I predicted back when Apple first introduced the video iPod, NBC and Apple have come to a meeting of the minds on TV shows so there is now a bunch of new video content in the iTunes Music Store including:
Law & Order
Monk
The Office
Battlestar Gallactica (the new series)
Surface
The Tonight Show
Late Night w/Conan O’Brien
They are also offering “classic” episodes of vintage tv shows including Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, and Knight Rider. Okay, you’re pondering “was there ever a classic Knight Rider episode?” but WHO CARES? It’s new content for the video ipod!!! I am especially jazzed about Battlestar Gallactica as I have managed to miss every episode of the new series and am completely behind. Oh, and just because I can, I will now disclose a deep, dark Chuck secret: he has become addicted to Desperate Housewives! He downloaded an episode that I had bought, watched it and now has ALL of the second season on his iPod!! This from the guy who gives me a hard time for watching Extreme Makeover. Sheesh!
Now if only my video iPod would come back from the Apple Repair Place then I too could geek out in small screen video bliss.
